Leads R.E.B Group and sets its direction, from investment in plant, people and technology to the standards every site works to. Health and safety is his particular focus, including the five-point PPE now used across the business.

Finds and wins the work: researching upcoming developments and planning applications, meeting new clients and walking sites. Stays hands-on in the day-to-day running of the business.

Looks after health and safety across R.E.B's projects: identifying and managing risk, supporting the site teams and making sure every job runs safely and in line with legislation and industry standards. Level 6 qualified, with the NEBOSH National General Certificate and over 14 years' experience across sectors from transport and heavy plant to historic building restoration.

Develops new client relationships and runs estimating from first enquiry to tender submission, making sure each price reflects the client's objectives, budget and programme before the job is won.

Oversees delivery across R.E.B's projects, working with project managers, site teams, clients and the supply chain. Responsible for safety, quality and programme on every job, from structural alterations to heritage buildings.

Builds and looks after R.E.B's client relationships across London, Essex and the South East, matching each new enquiry with the right team. A Mental Health First Aider, and involved in the company's branding and website.

Keeps the office running and supports the Managing Director with diary, meetings, correspondence and administration, keeping information flowing between the office, project teams, suppliers and clients.

Runs the accounts: invoices, payments, financial records and reporting. Works with suppliers, clients and colleagues to deal with queries quickly and keep the financial side of the business organised.

Sources and buys the materials, equipment and supplies that keep R.E.B's sites running. Manages suppliers, quotations, orders and lead times, and coordinates deliveries with the warehouse and site teams.

Supports the estimating and project teams with tenders and quotations: reviewing project information, assessing works and obtaining costs from suppliers and subcontractors. Has a BSc (Hons) in Actuarial Science from the University of Kent, and previous experience in analytical, business and quality-focused roles.

Manages project documentation, from health and safety records and training certificates to company accreditations, and prepares the plans, specifications and information the estimating team needs for each tender.

Runs projects from planning and tender through to completion. Oversees programme, health and safety, quality, budget and the client relationship, so issues are dealt with early and the job stays on track.

Manages day-to-day site operations: coordinating trades and resources, monitoring progress and keeping health and safety standards up. Works with clients, subcontractors and suppliers so each job runs to programme and specification.
